SSL connect error (Crypt_E_Revocation_offline)
Game was loading fine on Thursday evening.
Since yesterday on attempted start of standalone client i get a connection failure with the error Error: SSL connect error (schannel: next initializeSecurityContect failed: CRYPT_E_REVOCATION_OFFLINE (0x80092013) - The revocation function was unable to check revocation because the revocation server was offline. I have found several other threads with the same error listed, but I can find no working steps to actually correct this error or bypass this to get the game to start. I have changed nothing on my system setup since Thursday, beyond powering down and restarting, when the game was working and loading correctly, which leads me to believe this is a server side issue similar to the SSL connect errors that happened for several hours for players following the recent d hotfix update, however that was resolved in hours this has been going for days now with no words from GGG. has anyone who is getting this actually resolved the issue successfully, or is this even on GGG's radar? *edit - since posting launcher has successfully loaded and game starts with no changes on my side. so thank you to whomever adjusted something on the back-end Last edited by darkillini#6932 on Jul 7, 2025, 1:11:45 PM Last bumped on Aug 6, 2025, 4:17:54 PM

It doesn't work, I don't know for how long, I haven't logged in for 2 weeks, ssl connect error crypt e revocation... There are many options on the forum, but they are all old, I myself have tried reboots and deleting and disabling all security, including disabling certificate verification, as was in some topic here on the forum. nothing.
the next day, everything started working by itself Last edited by he11west#6829 on Jul 26, 2025, 6:07:22 AM

This happened to me just yesterday night two hours after being able to log on and play. I scoured the internet and tried all of the suggestions, even the complicated CRL posts and creating my own certificate and adding it to the approved list. I learned some new things but in the end none of it helped except for one thing.
I installed a VPN and once that was on and activated , it worked. Try a free vpn. |
