"Fiery Impact"

I am equipped with a "boom mace" and attacking with volcanic fissure of snaking (VFS).
If VFS triggers "Fiery Impact" from the boom mace by hitting a target far away.

Does Fiery Impact explosion trigger from where the player stands or from the target hitted?
