Additional Mercenary Slot(s)

Since the mercenaries are account wide, and not character bound, having just a few more slots would solve so many limitations. As of right now, you can't really keep any mercenaries for lower levels if you have a few different builds going.

I'd say the cap should be at least 6. This way you can keep three for leveling purposes, and three for end-game purposes (one for each different build up to 3, or multiple for the same build).

Yes this was a big L for GGG. Should be 3 slots per character, or maybe 10-12 per account. I quit because I didnt want to give up a merc I spent many, many hours farming for when I made a 3rd character. I like to play multiple builds built for different purposes and as such those builds need different mercs with a different roll. Not sure how this one went over GGG's head. I guess its sitting pretty low these days with no Chris around :(

If they want people to play a long time, spend more $$ on MTX for multiple characters. They would do well to accommodate and make it easier to do so.
in all honesty, i hope they do not go core, wouldn't really add anything once the whole thing got nerfed (as is standard with league mechanics that go core)

Example of Merc power:

-200 lightning resist nearby enemies
+50 crit multi nearby ally
+30% rarity nearby ally
+10 fortification nearby ally
Nearby allies have Culling Strike
+5k Armour nearby ally (determination aura w/ annoint + belt corruption)
Curse of choice on hit (glove corruption)
