Missing Spectre

So I purchased a Perfect Guardian Turtle to raise as Spectre. I put the item in inventory right click. Shows the Turtle on the ground. Hover over turtle red outline around it. So I know its targeted also turtle is the only thing on the ground at the time. I click raise spectre and boom it gone. WHY? How do I get it back. I have tired everything. Example. I use wretched defilers frosty ice too at times. I know if I want resumon all I do is Des then the pop up and can spawn them back till I get to my max what I want. SO why is the turtle gone. He cost me a chunk Chaos. Please hopefully I can get him back.

Spell Echo?

Did you unequip your skill gem?
Make sure to raise your ritual corpses the last to not overwrite them with the other spectres

I did this very same thing after paying 5 div for a perfect guardian turtle. Please, can we make it so when you cast raise spectre on ritual corpses that your spell echo and bone offering won't affect them? Or better yet, have them actually save to your desecrate pool and configure those items so that only the player can see it and not others. That is, of course, if your goal is to prevent sharing of these rare spectres. That way people can still sell them but other people won't just lose them after spending a fortune on them because you simply forgot to unequip some gems.
