Cast when Channeling - the tooltip lies?

Hello, i have been playing this game over an year now, i come here to ask if this is right, in the tooltip for cast when channeling, it says that triggered spells does '30% less damage'



however, the in game menu says other, here is lv 1 light conduit



here is the same light conduit with CwC applied



as you can see , it did not go down by 30%, it id go down To almost 30%.

so is this right? are we punishing channeling even more now?

Self casting states the damage as "damage per second"
CWC version then states the damage as "damage per use" because the mechanic is different

Look at the combined spell damage range and you will see that the CWC version is around 30% less.

you are both right, dunno why the game for one uses DPS while in the other Per Use

so it alone was showing hit dps, while triggered showing average hit, which i can twice per second, making it the dps 2x times the value, reaching the correct 30 damage loss.
