The Hooded One - One Free Respec Per Character

To foster early-game experimentation with various skills, I'm recommending The Hooded One grants the player one free respec per character. Subsequent respecs on the same character would require a Gold fee as usual. This would mostly benefit newer players, but veterans could also take part.

Gold is common enough - not necessary.

Nice step up from POE1 where respecs were gated behind the "Orb of Regret" currency item. Nowadays, just pay the fee in common gold.

Yes gold is common if you dedicate a great deal of time to farming it and hoarding it with your great screen clearing builds.

Now if you realize part way through trial and error and tremendous amounts of gambling and gear purchasing as you fidget with your troublesome build only to find... your build sucks and you want to completely redo it

The game should help new players experiment with different builds early in the campaign. This would only be offered once and then players need to pay a gold fee to respec.
