can somone explain again how do i convert premium tabs to auction house tabs?

they said something that you can only convert your current premium tabs to auction house tabs if you met some kinda prerequisite in PoE 2

i believe they meant that the purchase of premium tabs had to happen prior 0.3 to be eligible, tabs purchased later wont be eligible. at least this makes sense to me

All premium stash tab purchased prior to .3 launch are elegible to be converted to Merchant tabs. Once .3 launches a new option on the POE2 site will be available in the My account section to convert said premium tabs.

All premium tabs purchased Post .3 launch will not be elegible to convert. I assume because they will put out Merchant tabs as purchaseable.

Do we know the price of the merchant tab later if it will be a thing? I mean it should not be more than a premium tab because if they bust it out for 100+ points and they don't allow premium tabs purchased later to be turned in would be a problem. They neet to clarify some things with this before it is too late to buy them for sure.
