Path of Exile 2 to Path of Exile is
what Diablo III was to Diablo II a dumbed down, casual version without any complexity, with overnerfs and mandatory balanced builds, with worse combat which is ironic, given that Poe Project was created as continuation of Diablo II because Chris didn't like Diablo III but I guess Path of Exile will never be surpassed, you just need to make too much content and complexity to compete with it Last Epoch, Titan Quest 2 are all games for a week so our only hope is that Tencent doesn't axe Path of Exile Last bumped on Aug 24, 2025, 3:21:24 PM

I didn't really like D2 or D3... yet I like POE2. So from my subjective experience that seems like an odd comparison to make.

Saying PoE1 is better in combat to PoE2 is next level delusional.
It is not zoomies as fuck, but it is smooth, somewhat challenging. In first title you absolutely abolish any map by spamming all the projectiles in the world to clear whole map from standing position, how is that good combat? | |
