Infernal Cry is allowing reflect to kill.

If i am using Infernal Cry on my Merc character i kill myself due to reflect.
Even though i am using a level 5 Awakened Elemental Damage with Attacks Support gem which states "elemental damage cannot be reflected" along with Infernal Cry saying "damage cannot be reflected" Is this a bug or working as intended?

This will give you the triggered Combust skill.

Is Infernal Cry linked to your Awakened Elemental Damage with Attacks Support gem? Does your character prevent Physical Damage, or convert 100% of Physical Damage (from all sources) ?

Well, that's not exactly accurate...

An Awakened Elemental Damage with Attacks support gem will only affect skills it is specifically linked to. So e.g. if you don't have it linked to your Infernal Cry skill gem, then it's not going to prevent Combust's damage from being reflected to you - nor should it.

Also, Infernal Cry's tooltip means that the explosion it causes can't result it damage being reflected to you - however, Combust's tooltip makes no such claim about the damage it does.

It only says the following;

Deals attack damage in an area.
60% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage
This Skill is Triggered by Attacks Exerted by Infernal Cry
