Orb of Unravelling not upgrading the explicits
With great difficulty, I managed to get a lvl 85 Prophecy wand with 80 memory strands. I invested heavily to get it with +1 to all level spell skills and +1 to all level chaos skills, with T5 spell damage, and crafted ,Can have 3 up mofd, after cleaning the suffixes to then put spell crit chance and crit multiplier on the bench. When using the Orb of Unraveling, the memories were consumed and there was no upgrade. I'm very upset.

It is possible to consume all memory strands without upgrading any modifier tiers. Orb of Unravelling cannot upgrade a crafted modifier.

Do you really know what you're talking about?
Watch this video from "Empyriangaming" https://youtu.be/Phx6IGBvpXc (attempt to upgrade) In my understanding, if the value of the memories is sufficient to upgrade, this should occur and the increase in the tier of the suffixes would correspond to their value. It is not described whether it can or cannot be upgraded. "ATTEMPT TO UPGRADE the tier of explicit modifiers BASED on the NUMBER OF MEMORY Strands consumed" |

Did you check the pinned comment by Empy in the same video you linked? It's also in the video name as "[Unraveling Orb interaction patched]"
"EDIT: as of july 1 patch, upgrading crafted mods with unravelling orb is no longer possible." So you had 80 strands to try to upgrade one, and only one uncrafted mod on the wand, which was spell damage. And it failed to upgrade, which is by design, it's not guaranteed to upgrade just more likely to with more strands. |

Thanks for the explanation, I hadn't noticed that detail in the video. English isn't my language, and interpreting the translation in my own language made me misunderstand. Anyway, I'm still very sad about having an item with 80 memory strands and not being able to level up the tier of the only mod that could have been leveled. It makes me not want to try crafting anymore and rethink stopping playing POE.
