ASIAN SERVERS NEED A HOTFIX/OPTIMIZATION (singapore/japan)

I have been playing POE and I really enjoyed the game. It was introduced to me by a good friend of mine. Lately ive been experiencing horrible lag. Thinking it is just my internet provider or my wifi itself I did my very own troubleshoot and trial and error. Even booted up different platforms and other video games and to my disbelief it is only on POE I would have these horrible lag spikes and consistent 50,000ms when I boot POE up.

Hoping for a hotfix/optimization on asian servers because it is literally unplayable and could potentially lose a chunk of asian player base.





and one more thing... these lag spikes are consistent and happens everyday, every hour, and almost every minute. I can only enjoy the game if I get lucky with the ping and run around 1-3 maps maximum and it just kills the fun giving 1,000-100,000 ping.

yes it sounds nuts 100,000 ping but it actually really does occur.

All of GGG's gateways use identical hardware & software.

If you follow the guide in MTR and Connectivity Issue Primer, and post a WinMTR log there would be a lot more information available to people trying to identify the root cause of your issue.

I did and everything seems okay. As mentioned on my post, any game any platform and anything basically works like clockwork my ping averages around 20-40 ping max. It is only on POE ive experienced for the first time getting these types of lags and ping increase. Never have I ever gotten 1,000, heck even 100,000 ping on a video game before. Real question is why do I only get it from POE itself and not from other platforms and video games? note as well I contacted even my own internet provider and everything is absolute clockwork and was suggested I should contact support of the video game I was playing on.

Japan server has been giving me issues for a couple of weeks. No problems in town/hideout but as soon as I go into a map it starts having the hiccups. Ping is normally +/-20, now it spikes into the thousands every few seconds.

Thought it would get resolved overnight, now I'm worried PoE2 league start is going to be unplayable.
