Untargetable essence mobs (2)

2 Essences spawned near entrance of Laboratory map, where you activate the last lever to spawn in the final pack before the boss portal. They are attacking me but I am unable to target or damage them, or even see their life bars. I'm suspecting this is specific to this map, and the mobs that were trapped in the essence were pulled from the final pack pool and are not able to be targeted even after clearing the map.
