Async Trade and Hideout Player Limit
Just wondering what happens if the hideout is full, not sure if this has been asked / answered before. I'm guessing it creates a new hideout instance but just making sure since the release weekend is f2p.
If it blocks you / throws an error there's potential abuse: - blocking someone from being able to trade - price fixing items Last edited by Dradow#5750 on Aug 23, 2025, 7:11:50 PM Last bumped on Aug 24, 2025, 1:01:26 AM

" They should completely remove the need to travel to hideouts to complete the trade, let my merchant automatically pay (link it to my currecny tab) instead and grab the item i want from the merchant's seller and place it in his merch tab or in my stash or even better in my inventory. I agree with what IILU81II#8410 said
" GGG please do not misunderstand this. I very much appreciate that we are getting a new trade system. That being said, I really think it was over-engineered. The simplest way would have been (upon updating to 0.3) to change any listings on the trade site to replace the "send whisper" button with a "buy now" button and any "public" stash tabs are now market tabs. For the buyer, it grabs the item from the sellers tab and puts it with Alva for the buyer to pick up. For the seller, you get a notification that XXX sold and you go to Alva and get your currency. These systems are already in place and could have been modified as described above instead of having to create some whole new marketplace tab, requiring players to upgrade certain tabs, warping to hideouts etc etc etc. Simply replace the old trading system with the new. If you wanted to keep the current system in place, keep the "send whisper" button on the trade site and just add a "buy now" button next to it. Also, when you add something to a public tab, add an option for buy it now price or a whisper price. This would allow both systems to function together without the need to upgrade to "marketplace" tabs or warp to the sellers hideout. I don't really see the reason it needed to be over-complicated. In the end, I am still happy that we get some form of offline trading (albeit a bit clunky). 97 Blood Mage, 96 Gemling, 95 Deadeye, 93 Invoker, 92 Amazon, 92 Stormweaver, 91 Smith of Kitava
