Access Through Chest – What will happen to my Premium Stash Tabs in PoE1?

After converting my premium stash tabs, will I still be able to access them normally through the stash chest, or only through the NPC?

I would like to clarify this because I am unsure whether they can still be used solely for item storage. Not all premium tabs are necessarily used for trading, and as we know, storage space in Path of Exile is extremely limited to just a few tabs.

Once I convert my tabs for trade in PoE2, will I lose all of my storage space?
Will my premium tabs simply disappear from PoE1 after the conversion?

Why would you think you'll lose your stash tabs?????

Answer was in the Q&A. Once you convert a tab to merchant right after the .3 launch it will not be available in poe1 till async launches in poe 1. Moral of the story, don't convert all your tabs.
