Unexplained Client Loading Issues (Any ideas anyone?)

Issue:

1. 2 instances of client open.
2. Once logged in, game does not render skill effects/projectiles/monsters/loot

Context:

1. I double click my client icon to launch, nothing launches
2. I double click my client icon, the game launches
3. The first launch action finally catches up, 2nd client instance opens
4. I close one of the instances
5. I finish log in, game seems to have loaded fine. No apparent lag or missing artifacts.
6. I enter a map. Map is rendered fine, but monsters/loot invisible. I can attack and kill them, but all skill effects/projectiles are invisible.
7. Continuing to play the map, everything slowly returns to normal over the course of several minutes. Skill effects/projectiles come back in stages. (first the outline of frostbolt, followed by the shading/MTX)

Variables

1. Running Nvidia RTX 4060 w/ driver from Jul2025, WIN10
2. Only occurs when first client launch does not work
3. I have run a packcheck.exe

Next time this happens could you give us a link to your Client.txt file on Pastebin?

From your post it sounds like you're using the standalone client on Windows. If so, you should be able to copy and paste the below into File Explorer's address bar to be taken to the folder the game stores its log file in. Close the client normally before opening the log file.
