down side of keeping premium stash tab

is there any reason to keep the stash tabs in the premium version or should i move them all to merchant.

I have like 70 premium tabs
3-4 quad tabs

i cant find anywhere that says its good to keep a portion of the tabs premium and its good to convert some to merchant tabs.

whats the downside to keeping them as they are?

The new tabs cost gold to sell and buy which can quickly leave you unable to trade if you don't grind much.

Its also a separate market which will give you best exposure if listed in both markets such as with currency.

Premium tab prices can also be changed all you want without costing gold for every change.

Incorrect. There is no cost to sell. Only to buy.

maybe i read it incorrectly but if say you convert all your premium tabs to merchant are they removed from your stash?

that would mean you lose storage from your stash and have to buy more tabs to get the same amount of space as before conversion

No, that is correct. Also you will lose them in poe 1 as well

Merchant tabs can only be used for trade, nothing else. So if you are a hoarder, keep some premium tabs. And unless you're a maniac that trades 24/7, I see no reason why you'd need more than 5 merchant tabs.

5 tabs, maybe less but lets use that....whats that roughly
£20 to use new feature if dont wanna fuck my stash up

If you have 70 why not convert some and keep the rest?
There is no enddate of when you can convert them (announced so far at least).

The real question is, why can't Quad Stash Tabs be converted....
