Channeling skills still are pretty bad
Because mobs are so fast there is no-payoff for channeling skills like incinerate and flame blast. Mobs run you down too quickly compared to your movement speed even with less movement speed penalty gem. Another factor is that when you get stunned you have to reset the stages. Also getting stun avoidance means youre damage gets gimped.
potential solution is to make it so channeling you cannot be stunned, movement speed is not penalized as harshly or at all, make the payoff for longer channeling times more rewarding, make a minor push-back effect, add skills that give you temporary shielding. Im sure there are other solutions as well ***please whatever the solution is, just make it an interactive solution instead of adjusting the damage of the skill.
