The Forgotten Hollow (Artificer's Orb location in Act 2, Deshar)

I was wondering, is the name supposed to be a reference to Dark Souls' Furtive Pygmy? DS1 has a quote "… and the Furtive Pygmy, so easily forgotten". The Pygmy was essentially the first human, humans who are undead can go hollow, and thus The Forgotten Hollow? Hollow is also more recognizable in a DS context, so maybe that's meant to be a hint without fully revealing it?
