Ancestry Warrior Totem Feels Useless

I don't expect this skill to feel good out of the box. I understand the change was meant to make it more "meaningful" and "impactful".
But even after building into generating and sustaining endurance charges on my warrior, the changes to ancestry warrior totem are a complete downgrade. 1. With 0.3. Ancestry Warrior Totem (AWT) now has no limit. However, unless I'm willing to REALLY lean into charges I'm good at my typical cap of 7. 2. Problem is, given the low endurance charge time of 24 seconds by the time I generate enough charges to use TWO totems the timer runs out with no mobs for me to use them on. 3. The amount of time the totem lasts is unchanged. When the costs to launch was mana this was a non-issue. However, with it tied to endurance charges you can spend more time just to generate the charges than actually using it. And for what? You need 3+ to really have map clearing potential. 4. And the range is drastically reduced. It won't even target a mob in a small cave 4 meters away. Right now, the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I'll keep trying to tinker with it maybe I'm missing something but if the goal was ONLY to nerf it then congrats. Mission accomplished. But if feel objectively unfun. I'd rather the first totem's cost be brought down to one or two endurance charges and then goes to 3 if you want to stack em. But just to get ONE totem going can be a pain. Especially given the 8 second timer on magma barrier (one of my surefire ways to generate charges). To be fair, this could be a 'git gud' scenario so take my feedback accordingly. I get the idea behind why they did that, but this comes of the cost of fun, only being able to make totems through charges makes me never wanna touch a totem build. Good that we got shockwave totem though, no need for charges, too bad that shockwaves are not so much my thing though lol I would rather wanna have a flame totem instead or something that makes pew pew :)

There was short time period when it was playable, you could generate charges on taking self damage from scold's bridle, then with passives you would take part of that damage as fire, which triggered charm that gave max rage, and hateforge that gave 3 charges on reaching max charges. Plus body armor that make charms free.
In 0.3 it required literally 5 uniques just to make ancestral warrior playable, i'm not even talk about making it good, because it wasn't. But now, this piece of trash is one of worst skills in the game, there's no consistent way to generate charges enough to spawn 1 totem atleast every 3 seconds. Which makes melee totem builds useless waste of time. Especially comparing to actually good skills that are infinitely better to best possible ancestral warrior totem with gear we can get in 0.4. www.youtube.com/@PaintMasterPoE
