Let's add a way to pull impales with spells

Bonestorm! It impales. It adds a TON of impale stacks, but there is really no way to utilize impales with a physical based spell witch. My suggestion is giving a way for spells to utilize impales. Maybe Bone Blast innately can pull impales for bonus damage. (More combos good right?) Or maybe add a support gem for spells to utilize impales in different ways.

I for one agree with this. I want to play a full Bonestorm Witch that doesn't rely on minions. I don't like minions, and never have. :<

A support gem that gives the ability to proc Impales maybe, but prevents the spell itself from applying it.

I'd use things like Rend or Bone Cage in good combo fashion with that sort of addition.

seems kinda weird to have spell impale, but you have to be some kind of weird hybrid phys spell + attack build to actually use this.
Imho they should just enable spell to be able to extract impales that have been inflicted by spells.
Or introduce some other passive / unique jewel /whatever that does something with spell impales e.g. "Hitting enemies impaled by spells consumes an impale to gain a power charge" or any other of 1000 possibilities

Storm Lance + Explosive Spear is the best combo for that even for a spell caster imo.
