You can get chat muted for literally anything | Mute length doubles every time | No chat mute Cap

I will give a hypothetical scenario ->

P1: I ran 20 maps and got 0 divs ...
P2: Haha noob, have you tried being lucky?

Effectively this breaches "Code of Conduct" "Make hateful or needlessly negative comments" and P2 gets chat muted. For what? a joke?

This means everyone can get chat muted for literally anything. Even if you joke in a chatroom, someone else might get offended and so you get reported = chat ban !!!


Now the tricky thing is this Chat Mute Length doubles every time with NO CAP !!! I red some reddit posts someone got chat muted for 5 Years !!!


Why is it like that? Why there is no chat mute cap? Why there isn't a method to reduce Chat Mute Time Length (if someone hasn't been banned for a period of time, his Chat Mute Time Length gets reduced)???


What is the point of a chat room when you can get banned for literally anything? Am I supposed to just close chat room and never use it?
