Help for my MSoZ build
Hello everyone, I’m asking for some help regarding my build (STR stacker with MSoZ). I should mention that I play on console, so please keep in mind that, especially near the end of a league, trading is really difficult (some items are basically impossible to find). I’m showing you two versions: my current one, played in the league, and the version I plan to play in Standard, which already includes the items I’ll add at the end of the league.
My doubts aren’t really about damage, but rather about improving my defenses. Throughout an entire league I farm Abyss with 4 Risk and 1 Edifice, and some map modifiers completely destroy the build (-max res, #% less recovery, regen or leech block, endurance charge steal). I usually avoid those mods when rolling maps, but as you can imagine, they still appear because of the Risk scarabs. What can I do to handle at least some of these modifiers? In the PoB, once I disable Progenesis or the Fortification stacks (which aren’t always maintainable since they’re only on Leap Slam), my EHP and max hit drop drastically — not to mention Immortal Call, which obviously isn’t permanently active. I’d also like advice on which Guard Skill to use and whether to link it to Automation or CWDT. I have no real idea how much the Standard PoB can handle in practice, but I’d really like to improve the current one so I die less often in maps and T17 juiced bosses. PoB of actual league setup: https://pobb.in/js_SNhCzffsc In the first PoB there’s no Nimis because I sometimes swap skills for mapping, and since the damage is already more than good enough even without Nimis, I decided to go with a Helical instead to fix my stat requirements. Here’s my thoughts on it with 6 mirrors invested on console (Xbox). Your gear is very similar. I am not going to pursue further upgrades at this point unless my MS trickster gets nerfed for the simple reason, my Trickster is unkillable and can ignore map modifiers. It runs void valdos with no worry. Can hang out with ghosted feared and take no discernible damage, and still kill them with 10% less damage per item equipped, or 100% deli. It does around 250m damage, so not much less than the 450m my Msoz Jugg does. It gets the job done. My guild mate however, uses a 149% adorned setup with 3x 1p voices. He has 12k+ life and insists this is the way. I believe him, but I think as far as tankiness goes, Msoz will always have to roll certain map mods away which is a problem for me. If you can get a crucible tree titanium spirit shield with 900es or more with 5% es on block and a 100% global necrotic with suppress, int, att%, fortify/resolute EE, the rest is easy to craft yourself. I run a 150% adorned on it too with only 1x 1p voices. It can do just as well with 3x 8p large clusters probably. It’s just insanely strong. I only tried Msoz Jugg because I found a POF sublime vision and had everything else (or knew who had the items I could mirror). The bottom line is, it will never be able to ignore -20% max resist and struggles with at least a few others. Having life gained on hit mana AND es on hit help in no leech and reduced regen maps, it can still die. The way I see things at my level of wealth (18 mirrors). If I can’t confidently do void valdo’s maps, I don’t want to play it.
