After lvl50, do you disenchant rares or vendor them for gold?

What's the strat here? I disenchant but I can't tell if I should be selling for gold instead.

Those few gold pieces or few tier 1 orbs you get from campaign will end up 0.01% of your total currency accumulated anyways. Once you start mapping your currency and gold drops will far exceed anything during the campaign

What do I do with them during maps? I get tons of them.

just don't touch them. They're 99.999% worthless and waste of time to filter through.

In SSF I will do gold for a long time because I like to gamble and respec to experiment.

That said, once I'm using some pretty decent items already and being a little more discriminatory in what I'm picking up with a huge gold bank, and the next upgrade feels a bit farther away, I will start disenchanting for regal shards.

Every base type of interest to me gets at least a greater trans/aug. Depending on the outcome, I can take the craft in various directions, but normally the outcome is shit.

In this case, I can still slam a regal on it and put it in my "reforge" tab to try and get something useful out of it. That's why I farm the regal shards.

If it had one salvageable affix worth recombing, I wait until there's inevitably another shit outcome worth recombing it with - which is actually how I've crafted all my best weapons - lucky high phys + high flat phys recombs.

It also helps when crafting maps. If my trans + aug is decent, I regal. If the trans + aug is terrible, I alch it hoping to salvage something better.

Game filter = currency only.

Why pick up items, let the bots do that.
pick up cash, buy your gear.

Legendary sucks.
Rares are there to become bricks.
Bases can be ok but why bother..

Let someone else brick stuff and lug trash.
