Can somebody tell me if there is official stance on why no auto sort exists
| Why is there not auto sort button for inventory/stash? Was this asked/answered before? Last bumped on Oct 31, 2025, 8:33:36 AM | |
| it leads to decision making. is ok .. In your inventory tho... But the stash , yes it should have the option to Set tabs to item types and sort by level , or stat. always be filling it in to maximize space. | |
| It's F2P game model. More time spent in the game = more opportunity to sell microtransactions. Entire game is built to drag along/waste time. And keep player's playing. If someone spends 10 hours in a bar instead of 1 hour. it's safe to assume that they will buy more drinks. Same way with F2P model. If a player spends 1000/2000/3000 hours in the game instead of 100 hours. What will happen with microtransaction sales?.. Same thing. You can try to by-pass some of this by "purchasing" specific stash tabs of course. Map tabs/ crafting tabs etc. Last edited by Icesinnox#6517 on Oct 28, 2025, 1:13:45 PM | |
| " thanks makes sense thanks fam. Yeah I definitely purchased a bunch of tabs, and I dont think game needs artificial ways to keep you in, I think it leads to more annoyance and just people finding their way around it, for example after couple weeks I just pick up divinges/annuls/chaos and don't bother with most gear... So I don't spend time sorting out inventory anyway. | |
| No need to invent some crazy conspiracy theories to explain this. The reason is much simpler, namely the fact that the entirety of the inventory/stash system is copy + pasted from a 15+ year old game. | |
| The real reason is that GGG is just slow. It took them 15 years to implement a basic trading system. Auto-sorting your inventory? See you next century. | |
