Grinding to make currency to buy things is the definition of a job

When I play a loot game, I want to find good loot. Please offer a permanent solo mode with major bonuses to item find.

They've said a million times SSF is a bonus / challenge mode, they're not going to balance the game around it.
There are plenty of easier/less grindy ARPGs out there, why do you want to make POE2 into another one of those? Just play them instead. |

No.
This is definition of a job: "A piece of work, especially a specific task done as part of the routine of one's occupation or for an agreed price." Last edited by Sakanabi#6664 on Oct 30, 2025, 11:23:30 AM

Grinding for valuable currency is a mistake and you shouldn't do it.
If your goal is to have a lot of valuable currency like divines, grinding for it as if to drop it from mobs is not the best way to accumulate it. Grinding is for gear and XP, as well as all of the mostly-accessible crafting materials which drop often enough to be able to be used relatively frequently. You trade gear to other players for high value currency that you then use to improve your own gear incrementally and also fund more crafting of good items. Doing this continuously will yield you more high value currency than you need in order to do any build you can think of and all of the content, multiple times over. And I'll clarify - when I say "good" gear, I don't necessarily mean gg mirror-worthy gear. I mean anything that's full of t3+ affixes. It doesn't have to be good for you - it just has to potentially be good for someone, because there's only one "you" and thousands of "someones". There's a reason they're not called "Grinding Currency Games". Last edited by karsey#2995 on Oct 30, 2025, 12:43:52 PM
