Did GGG just forget about petal skills?

They were supposed to be improved months ago, but the devs never did a follow up on that and didn't even bring them up during the latest Q&A.
I wonder if they actually forgot about them or they are part of the big T17 endgame rework. Last bumped on Oct 31, 2025, 2:25:34 PM

the concept of 'petal skills' (in a game with so much gore) is already amusing
the skills themselves are forgettable and bring nothing (except gold) to the table. they should automate them, buff them or remove them. keeping them as is means that each map i check if i got the only good one and if not - completely ignore the entire mechanic |

They are aware that the petal stuff needs changes, but small changes are not going to fix it so it probably will be removed or redesigned once they find time for it. I think it was mentioned in a stream recently that it was not enough time to do it this league.

What the heck is a petal skill. Is that those t16.5 skills that i never pressed except for the challenge?
