Divine font use on corrupted 21/20 gem is a bug, OK but why change it? It's a benign bug

This does means making 21/20 transfigure gem in a trade league much easier, but in trade economy getting a finished gem is already easy, you just pay the price for someone else to run lab buy a bunch and corrupt all, in trade league this will not make much of a difference other than the price of 21/20 transfigured gem going up.
However in SSF mode, that is a devastating nerf, players can no longer make a regular 21/20 gem then go to do lab 1-3 times to get the final product, they have to run dozens upon dozens of labs to get enough transfigure gem as bases, level all up then corrupt all hoping to hit 25% or 33% chance, or run alva temples which they might not even want to run just to have a double corruption change, for certain builds only work with transfigured gem and do scale gem level, this would be such a massive time waste. " Stopped reading there. SSF mode is harder, because you're opting out of a fundamental mechanic of the game which is trade. Things are harder to get, because drops are balanced around an economy. The game is never getting balanced for SSF. Divine Font can still be used for corrupted gems if you use Dedication to the Goddess. According to 3.27 patch notes: " PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |
