black screen when opening poe

Good evening. When I tried to open PoE on Steam today, I couldn't log in because the screen just stays black. I've already tried the following:
Verify game files Clear cache Delete user data Reinstall the game Update drivers Disable antivirus After all these steps it still doesn't work and I can't play, that's why I'm posting this in the forum. Thank you very much for any help you can offer. Last bumped on Nov 5, 2025, 11:02:14 AM

" It wasn't creating a log file. But the error was that it was forcing the game to run with DirectX 12 in its settings, and my GPU doesn't support it. PoE was ignoring the -dx11 parameters that were being set in Steam, so while trying to fix that, I remembered that this change could be made by editing the production_config file, and I changed the 12 to 11, and that stopped the black screen issue. |
