The balls move too quickly and the gaps Maven opens are too narrow, assuming she creates gaps within reasonable distance of one another. It's almost like playing Flappy Bird mixed with a bullet hell.
Your best bet in situations like this is to replace whatever your mobility skill is with a teleport such as Flame Dash or Frostblink. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
