Unexpected disconnection problem

Hi all, hopefully somebody can help me out.

I recently moved from playing PoE on my PS5 to a gaming pc and am becoming increasingly frustrated with random "unexpected disconnection" errors.
It is really putting me off from playing and i cannot for the life of me figure out why....
I've messed around with multiple settings and can't stop this from happening.
My setup runs other games on very high settings but keeps crashing in Poe for some reason......HELLLLLLPPPPP ME .

My setup:
CPU RYZEN 5 7500F, 6 CORES
GPU RTX 5060TI 16GB
32GB RAM DDR5
AM5 ASUS PRIME MOTHERBOAD
1TB SSD

Is the game client crashing, disconnecting, or both?

The troubleshooting for a stability issue would be markedly different from that of a connectivity problem. I'm not trying to split hairs - they're just very different issues, and we need to know which it is (or if it's both) before we'll be able to offer meaningful help.

It's crashing the game and sending me back to log in screen.

I have a few seconds normally where i can't click on anything or leave a screen for example and then the game sends me back to log in

Okay; that's just a disconnection, not a crash.

It's possible this might be a server-side issue. Can you post an MTR log?

I've never done that before but have the application open and will not recognise the host name for some reason.

I have the same problem. I've noticed that, for example, every time I had an upgrade on the genesis tree, this ALWAYS happened, and then, I'm unnable to use my pc untill the game resolve this sending me back to the loging screen and everything works fine again... Is a pain in the ass playing on this way, almost every map I run has at least one "unexpected disconnection"....

ok so mines working good now, turns out my internet connection was faulty, bought new ethernet cable and now i don't disconnect....hope yours is as easy to fix bud
