Game doesnt start anymore

Hello,

i just get a black screen when trying to start now and after half an minute or so "path of exile does not react. do you want to close the program?
i tried compability mode for windows 7 and 8 and also updating my nvidia drivers nothing works. last thing i can do is to reinstall the game, but is there maybe an other fix?
