do not put casual players in market in disadvantage to the top 5%, just to save prices

the recent 3.27 implementation of Asynchronous Trade had a huge impact in PoE 1 Economy.

i see a lot of bad reactions to players, having their favorite 25 Chaos trades dropping to 1 Chaos or even less. i can understand that.

but solutions of mentioned or suggested to put casual players in market access disadvantage MUST BE AVOIDED.

ie. posting an item in merchant tab should cost gold to stop the flood.
very bad idea because gamers with a loot playtime will have more gold, thus casual players won't have many golds.

if the market gets favored to the top 5% of players, the game will end up only having those top 5% players. see other games over last decade, can be summed up by Web AI easily.

also not-solution but:
the market needs a really good ingame pricing feature. this can reduce heavy underpricing.

also plz have market UI not be jumpy up and down all the time while i click input masks, getting seasick

Yeah I'm surprised there isn't a deposit fee, even if it's small.

Yes, we warned players about that happening before asynch trade launched. Demand for items stays the same but the supply goes 100xfold because of it. Personally I can't sell anything except for consumables. The bottom fell out of the economy. Negative viewpoint: most items are worthless. Positive viewpoint: most items are super cheap to pick up. It is a matter of perspective.

There is not much critical thinking with most poe players when they price items. They just look up the same item on trade and just blindly copy the 'price' and lower it a bit. The worth of an item gets determined by the first player most of the time putting a random price on it.
