PS5: how can i connect to the closer gateway?

Hi,

​I'm playing POE1 from Bangkok, Thailand, and I've found that my game always connects to the Frankfurt or sometimes to Australia gateway, which makes the game unplayable due to the high ping and spikes. Walking, blinking, or any movement periodically puts me back to where I was 1-2 seconds ago. This didn't happen in POE2, it automatically connected to the Singapore gateway, and if connection issues arose, I could choose to connect to the Japan gateway as well, which is still closer than the EU gateway. However, these two options can't be found in the POE1 gateway options. How can I play on a closer gateway? I really want to play the game and get the challenge rewards. But at this rate, i might not be able to finish the challenge.
