Breach hive - 24 waves
|
Hi,
Quick idea.: Can the 24 waves have a "skip" button to skip a wave so the monsters spawn faster? It reminds me of Bloon TD games where you can skip the waves in tower defence. It could be accompanied by 5-10% increased difficulty and graftblood dropped or something, to reward better builds and make people want to progress. As it stands now the mechanic already feels super stale, not challenging at all in the end game, and its been like 2 weeks... Hopefully this will be adressed at least next league when we get the Atlas tree to tweak this league mechanic. Same goes for the 6-8 waves, the initial waves have a long spawn time, same as hive. Should be somehow faster (for my personal liking). Thoughts? Last bumped on Nov 12, 2025, 4:59:39 PM

Is it really that long? Here I was wishing there were more waves because I like the mechanic so much.

+1 to ops suggestion
but on the other other hand, hives still feel tedious for melee somewhat. i go and obliterate one batch of enemies then i have to quickly run back to obliterate another. non stop. SOMETIMES, when i m happily blasting a pack. another pack manages to get up to the npc. they sneak a hit or two in or more. over time this CAN lead to a failed hive. i can play perfectly where i just make sure never to over extend. just obliterating stuff within the "square area" and never going to the pathways. but in that case i just feel punished for not using a one button build that obliterates the screen and just stand in place, barely ever moving. i also wouldnt mind it another way where the waves are reduced. as long as the rewards are the same (sniggers) as for waves being added.... i guess it could be fun but sometimes i feel its taking so long just to finish it. if we can choose for infinite waves but the waves dont get stronger. i ll definitely camp out in the hive for a very long period of time. lol [Removed by Support]

I don't want to reduce waves, just make it skipable, so the monster spawn faster. Especially in early stages... plus extra difficulty would be fun
