Bloodline Ascendancies
|
I have been working on getting the Breachlord Bloodline Ascendancy but I noticed when reviewing information that the points for it are shared with your regular Ascendancy instead of having its own pool of points that are dedicated to Bloodline Ascendancies and obtained when unlocking it. I feel like this is kinda of a... preventative for actually playing with the Bloodline Ascendancy in many cases. You don't get access to the Bloodlines until well into mid-Endgame and by that point you have already fully developed your normal build. I cannot see someone willingly taking points they have built around out of their standard ascendancy to swap into a Bloodline Ascendancy.
I honestly feel like you should be granted 2 additional points that can only be used for a Bloodline Ascendancy when you unlock your first Bloodline on a character. I think it would be more conducive to actually playing with them otherwise I don't really see a point in pushing to get them unlocked. Last bumped on Nov 12, 2025, 6:12:04 PM

" I think they're meant to be an addition to the game and not borrowed power. Its like its own league material except it has been balanced before it was launched somewhat and it should stay. |

Friend, do not call those bloodline whatevers "ascendancies". Those are clearly DESCENDANCIES. I don't want to use my ASCENDANCY points to DESCEND. They gotta go asap.

" Yeah as per the notes, they aren't going anywhere. Also, nothing is permanent and values can always be adjusted accordingly. ★ Forum Threads ★

" I am not sure about that. I know it's in core game, but it feels kinda not good to be honest. Theme of the class limits options, very dull overall, way of unlocking some of them are annoying. I won't be surprised if they will change it to some charm system which would be much more flexible, easier to expand. On Probation Any%

" It feels not good because its BALANCED. People are interested in broken stuff. just the way it is. |

The Bloodlines are literally just more options (without power creep).
No one has to use them. They are basically additional ways to play if you don't need the points in your main ascendancy. I don't see how this is a problem. |

The forums before bloodlines:
Trickster is OP OP. Please nerf trickster, it is ruining build diversity. GGG: Adds an ascendancy, available to literally all classes, allowing them to avoid all actionspeed/slow mechanics AND nerfs the one trickster has. Forums after bloodlines: These ascendancies suck. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”
