Proposal to Improve Faust’s Purchasing System

Proposal: Add a Direct “Buy” Option to Faust (Without Teleporting)
I’d like to suggest an improvement to the current item purchasing system through Faust. I’m not sure if anyone has already proposed something similar, but I believe this could noticeably improve the trading experience. Current Issues Right now the process works like this: you find an item on the market, click “Teleport”, get moved to the seller’s hideout, buy the item, and move it to your inventory. This is fine for single purchases, but when buying many items (maps, fragments, consumables), several problems appear: – You can fall into the so-called “crab trap,” where nearby items have different prices, and you must be extremely careful. – If you use complex filters or regex, finding the needed item in the seller’s stash is difficult. – When buying maps one by one, you have to teleport to many different hideouts in a short time. – The whole process becomes slow, tiring, and easy to make mistakes in. Proposed Solution Add an alternative “Buy” button that lets you purchase an item without teleporting to the seller’s hideout. The purchase would happen instantly in Faust’s interface. The bought item would be placed into a special Faust stash, for example “Pickup Only.” The player could later visit Faust once and collect everything at the same time. Anti-Bot Measures and Limitations To prevent abuse, the system could include: – This purchase method works only in-game, not through the website. – The “Pickup Only” stash has limited capacity, so players cannot buy out the market instantly. – Optional limits such as maximum total purchase value or a limit on how many items can be bought per minute. Why This Would Be Beneficial – Greatly speeds up bulk purchases like maps or fragments. – Reduces the chance of accidentally buying incorrectly priced items. – Makes the buying process safer and more convenient. – Improves UX without harming the economy or balance. This system stays fair and fully controlled, while solving one of the most frustrating issues in the current trading flow. Last bumped on Nov 12, 2025, 6:15:57 PM
