Defend missions are not fun, more blood does not fix that

Buffing the blood gain or loot to try and force more people into it is not a good fix.
Lowering the chance to spawn it while increasing the chance of a regular breach would be better. Or removing it entirely.

You lost the spirit of the original league. Having to babysit some npc from getting damaged is not it at all no matter how many little things you spawn to click on it just isn't the same type of fun. Or fun in general for that matter. Defend person/object missions are in general largely disliked.
The walls interact with the map and other league mechanics annoyingly.

You guys have been big on updating visuals and making mechanics/bosses big visual spectates, however fun has been over looked or a secondary concern for most of this.

From bosses/mechanics to even new map design. Heavily overused phased bosses that become a chore to fight more than a couple times. Reducing map size and putting pillars and pebbles in them everywhere to where you constantly run into stuff trying to navigate them. Map modifiers and mob effects that result in most of your time not fighting mobs but fighting the environment itself.

Bring "is it fun" back to the core design of these things please.

i only find this activity fun if they are only coming from one direction. i am a single player melee striker that plays tru melee.

i've suffered years of "defend x while monsters come from everywhere"

i've always hated it.

some how i feel "strong enough" in this league to protect her. some do sneak thru. so i cant "have fun too much" and am forced to be more serious in my baby sitting efforts which is less fun.

the best way for me to baby sit is to not stray too far away from her since i m close range melee.

then sometimes i get a bunch of them that has huge ass aoe on death effects forcing me to get away and stop my baby sitting for a while.

i dont remember getting lightning mirage, but if i do get that and if i get the lightning spires, i imagine its going to be a very bad time for me.

i've experienced this in blight and settlers (petrified tree).

but so far in mapping, defending her is easy enough. they dont spawn too often and its manageable.

even in the fortress (but requires you to be fast at clearing). defending the npc in breach 2.0 has been much better than blight and the petrified tree.

i block both those 2 league mechanics. on the flipside i m looking forward to going home and playing poe. the npc babysitting mechanic is "good enough" but can be improved.
