i like it. its much more manageable for trumelee users now.
thank you. also i would add. now thats been acknowledged. the next step is to identify certain mods that could just feel unfair. for example i was busy killing a gazillion mobs that had gotten close to the center. a gazillion more were on the way. but theres many area denials such as delayed cast on death blast areas. one interesting side note. i've done a LOT of hives, but i dont notice any mods doing lightning spires/lightning mirages. i dont know if i m lucky or if GGG had a hand to play in this. but whatever it is, i really like that i dont have those bullshit mechanics happening in a "defence" mechanic. dear ggg. do this with blight and petrified wood defence please. maybe i might feel inclined to start doing blight and perhaps certain ultimatums if this was the case. so many wins! (if talking about hives). so for hives nope but if talking about mapping defence. hmmmm i cant say i dont enjoy it. coz i really do. i get a lot of mobs to kill and it being only 8 waves or so i have a lot of room for error. if i were to remove one thing it would be the "non breach lord" stable breach event. its not really fun nor rewarding enough. removing wall, if talking about the ones in maps. yes +1, please get rid of em increase difficulty i m slightly against it as any content that encourages players to increase difficulty may introduce fomo where they want to run the most difficult content all the time and end up dying all the time as a result. but if theres a scarab to increase the difficulty, i think its a good compromise drop loot at the same time - as in u want more loot? i m not gonna say no to more loot. drop loot at the same time - as in everything drops only at the end? i m also up for that. in fact i wish more league mechanics did this such as harvest. fighting the boss with a ton of life force on the ground is distracting [Removed by Support] Last edited by exsea#1724 on Nov 18, 2025, 2:14:24 AM

You already get next to nothing from them though, at least you won't be wasting nearly as much time.

the one in fortress is terrible. I have a double strike character that is true melee that is awful in fortress now.
This change is only good if you were too lazy to move around quickly. Standing inside a confined space fighting monsters funneling into it is a recipe for death. especially then you can have on death effects fill the screen and in an attempt to dodge you run into a wall and die. 0/10 change. |

just make the walls optional, don't let us suffer something only a handful of players enjoy.
Hive walls was an IDIOTIC change that introduces nothing good to gameplay. |

The league mechanic seems pretty accessable now. Tree is probably great for ssf. Just a lottery for trade though, but whatever... |

Remove the walls. At least before I could pretend I had something to do for the literal minutes of waves. Now its just stand there and hold down right click. 1% engagement 0% difficulty Constructive compromise. " the biggest problem i see is how defence mechanics is bad for any trumelee players. and i too share the same hatred of on death effects. how the fuck are we supposed to defend/do damage if the npc is being slapped by a monster but theres 100 overlapping on death blast areas waiting for you to step into. the best way to play tru melee is to make it as non melee as possible, making it have huge range and aoes. i dont like that.
