Complaint On a 2Mod Originator Map Boss

To preface my complaint. I've played this for many hours and feel I have gotten a fair share of satisfaction.

So this map with a Cardinal of Fear boss.. given the ghosts mod from choices at the boss.. turns out to get 5 ghosts which make him delete my character almost instantly while takes little to no damage and regens even if I do.. it's whatever but I can't help but think to myself as I'm experiencing this.. what was I supposed to do? Idk if there's a character that exists that could kill this thing.. and there's 2 mods on this map.. ultimately I think to myself.. is this point of the game just a mess? Idk what it is but this game that is much about character building and progression.. then I run into something like this.. and it's just so obviously designed with little to no thought of the outcomes makes me not only lose faith in the game but question my own intelligence for spending so much time on it. I urge the designers to think a little more carefully with these kinds of encounters and what the end game means.
