This game has incredible depth the sheer variety of viable builds is genuinely impressive, and I’ve invested a lot of time finding and fine tuning one that suits my playstyle. But let’s be clear, this game was released in 2012, and after more than a decade, it’s frankly unacceptable that the engine still can’t handle modern shader loads properly.

I’m running this on a 990 PRO 2TB NVMe, a Ryzen 9 9900X3D, 48 GB of RAM, MSI MPG Carbon Wifi x870E and a Radeon 6900 XT. These are not mid-tier specs, this is an high tier machine. Yet, during simple pack clears, framerates nosedive from a stable 120 FPS to sub-20 territory and stay there after the packs are already dead!. The rig is water cooled with components running under 46 °C. That’s not just poor optimization that’s a performance regression.

The forums are full of reports from users with equal rigs or better and we all are experiencing the same issues, and the complete silence from GGG is staggering. Last league, I could play consistently at 120 FPS, even with heavy content like Delirium. Now, performance is tanking without it. This level of technical negligence is simply not acceptable in 2025.
