Instance tracking to prevent map/scarab/entry token loss

What'd be really cool would be instance tracking, so if the instance crashes we don't lose the entry cost.

If the instance crashes, we'd receive the entry tokens back, so we can just give it another shot.

I know 1:1 real time replication of the instances would be, expensive and complex. But a tracker of what instances were open and their entry tokens? That would be drastically simpler.
