BYO dungeon.

trying this again because i really messed up last thread.
i hope in the future, not only does BYO dungeon feature stick around, but that we will be able to play other peoples designs, vote for best designs, and compete for a top spot on a top 10 scoreboard or something similar. think mario maker 2 but for poe. Last bumped on Dec 6, 2025, 4:30:11 PM

I don't think this league mechanic is going to work the way you think it will. There's no way players will in any way meaningfully design shareable dungeons. It's going to be mostly RNG, and only make sense as a mechanic that's personal to each individual player, not something that's shared.
The mechanic most likely will stick around though, unless it's really bad. That's kind of the thing with PoE, when leagues bring fun new content, they find a way to make it part of the core game when the next league comes around. Last edited by MarsAstro#7928 on Dec 5, 2025, 4:36:41 PM

yes, but one way to improve on this mechanic is to let people share designs, vote on them, and keep a scoreboard for them that rewards people. this is easy and FREE for GGG content generation.
this will 100% not be the case at launch, but im hoping they will improve on it in the future and make this a reality. |

Ooooh...and design a ton of traps and fill the dungeons with proximity sea-hags...
Sadists only apply... -Time to be funny. The world needs funny right now! Warning: "Might" get you muted.
25 Exalts...oh God my stupidity stuck! Now onto 25 Divines... |

" What is the point of sharing it, do you see anyone sharing their trial of sekhemas or trial of chaos dungeons? |
|
" You can sell your Trial entry ticket. Afaik at any stage you can take your entry ticket out and sell it as is. So you could get all the way to the final boss and then sell it, for example. The thing is, when you complete your maze/dungeon, a portion gets destroyed. So maybe there will be a way to design a dungeon, then sell the ticket before you run it. I don't foresee a mode where you can farm the same dungeon over and over again tho, and I don't really see the point in running a dungeon that grants 0 rewards (because if you could design an efficient dungeon why wouldn't you just farm it infinitely?). This isn't a platformer and the Gauntlet is easily my least favorite Sekhema Trial. Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.

Being able to sell a ticket to the dungeon you've designed is actually a cool idea.
