I was planning to go for werewolf with shaman due to rage regen but then I realized it adds +5 rage cost for every single skill which is not ideal of course.
I wonder if bear maul is a must for rage gaining as werewolf :( that kinda kills the vibe tbh. | |

I'm not personally a druid kind of guy so I'm a bit salty that the big endgame changes are pushed till 0.5. I hope everyone who wants to play it has fun though.

Missing a couple nodes in Shaman; they look kind of juicy!

It looks like the one missing is something about elements, i think its something that converts damage to the element you choose

"The pictures were confirmed to be outdated anyways. Although they still give a general idea of what to expect from Shaman and Oracle. |

shaman looks strong with all the rage nodes. Oracle looks like it will have more unique build potential once we see the unseen path nodes

"Druid was fine w/ me until I saw it in action. I don't really feel too positively about it now. Then again, I also don't know what I can cook up w/ it. But gd am I disappointed end-game things got pushed to 0.5 as well. The game really needs it at this point. I don't think Tablets having 4 mods, and mob pack sizes is gonna do it. Like not even close. Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.

I've considered doing rage builds on warrior for a while now. It just didn't feel like the payoff was worth the cost. Those rage nodes turn on rage builds quite nicely though. I'm not overly worried about adding a rage cost as just a bit of the existing support will eliminate that cost. There are already passive nodes that say "gain rage on attack".
Oracle I really want a better demonstration of what Moment of Vulnerability and Align Fate do. I'm sure one is that thing in the video where a copy of the boss appears and we can hit it but if its something that happens once every 5 minutes then it'll be meh. The crit line is also interesting. Unlucky on both damage and crit chance for enemies is a big deal. It depends on enemy damage ranges but if they are similar to our own its effectively a pretty big Less modifier to damage taken. Inevitable we need more info. If it makes RNG deterministic, as in a 10% chance means every 10 will contain 1 then it'll be a bad node. GGG sometimes forgets there is an opportunity cost with our ascendancy points. Making something equal but different isn't enough. We have to become unambiguously better for our investment or we'll just not invest. However if it increases the chance to crit every time we fail to crit and can go to 100% then it'll be solid. |
