Shapeshifting looks awesome! What class Will be best at it?

Hi!
Shapeshifting looks awesome, and since every class can do it what class and ascendancie Will be best at what animal form?

Im thinking there is potential in pathfinder now when we can start at sorc/warrior and get 5 inc damage from normal nodes!
And also invoker maybe
What do you think?

As we can't know what the remaining ascendancies will be about, I'll just go with what we have and know will come.

For Bear - Druid(Shaman) for rage generation, Marauder for rage benefits in the future + further rage, Warrior(Titan) for slams, Warrior(Warbringer) for warcries.
For Wolf - Monk(Invoker) for general damage, Duelist for strikes/attacks, Mercenary(Tactician) for the wolf pack.
For Wyvern - Ranger(Pathfinder) to remove the slowdown of the flying ability, most likely Templar for damage otherwise (assuming what his ascendancies will be), Huntress(Amazon) for charge consumption/infusions, or Sorceress(Stormweaver) for hybrid spellcasting.

Edit:
Marauder, Duelist, Templar and Shadow nodes on the tree pretty much don't even exist yet, so you gotta take that into consideration as well

Unless they give other classes leeching passives like Amazon, I won't play any other class in this game. They've taken "Walker of the Wild" out of the passive tree for some weird balance reason and now it's a support gem, which is a hilarious design imo.

And also the way they handle the "Smith of Kitava" and "Acolyte of Chayula" ascendancies is so funny. I think at this point they are trying to troll players who don't RMT to play the meta bow builds.
Neden yaşıyorsun?
Yeah amason ele leech is more important now for sure forgot that especially for wolf
Parhfinder seems great for wyvern
Might be thinking blood mage for Wyvern also. Spell damage leech and bleed... Seems tasty for dragons...

And druid shaman could be great for bear actually with the rage

Could be lots of viable builds around shapeshifting!

W...what? Bloodmage is a horrendous idea if you want spell damage for WYVERN. The skill gems for wyvern were showcased. They aren't spells.
There, read up.

They are counted as attacks. Thus leech from Bloodmage does absolutely nothing. Unless you use curses for the bleed or use the bonus health from the chest, you'll get no value for a Wyvern.
For bear - you're funny enough looking for Smith of Kitava.

It's going to automate your entire build. Heat of the forge is going to cast spells for you while you're in a bear form. Completely or partially eliminating need to switch forms. It's going to be free so zero mana needed.
While rest of the Kitava build is... kinda sucky, you do start around warrior part which will come in handy for fire damage and rage.

Titan and Shaman are obvious choices for bear too. Safest and easiest being Titan because bonuses are simple and straightforward.

For wolf - Witchhunter. You are in a comfortable position. Close to both Dex/str starting points if needed. Lots of places to pick up very useful passives. More importantly with changes to Sorcery ward, it's going to make you immensely tanky. Which is all you need because you're going to be quite fragile.
On top of having access to culling strike on everything AND also added AoE as bonus from the explosions on kill.

Perhaps Ritualist IF you're looking for a headhunter build - meaning you running around the map, stacking bonuses from killing rares.
Very likely Oracle can be good? Who knows.

For wyvern - Pathfinder. It's such a nobrainer. You get to pick the 'path seeker' which should allow you to start off near Sorc tree if needed for lightning focused damage.
Start near warrior for rage + fire damage.
Start near ranger if you want the projectile focused bonuses.
On top of the fact that Wyvern is going to likely need the bonus to movement while using skills.

Ritualist once again works because ritualist is simply generally good. More so after the buffs.

Shaman makes sense for rage generation or hybrid caster/wyvern.

For general caster seems like Oracle, Shaman and Stormweaver will have a great time.

I was considering Witchhunter instead of Amazon, and I still think Amazon's damage scaling with elemental leech is better for endgame. I could be wrong, but that's how I feel. Very informative answer, by the way, thanks a lot.

I suspect Wyvern will be really good at Volatility Acolyte. Probably not going to be the top spec but good at that specific spec.
