Since opening up the "Early Access" they have added,
2 classes - Druid, Huntress and 2 Ascendancy each (Shaman, Oracle, Amazon, Ritualist) 2 Weapon types - "Talisman" and Spear One act - act 4 They still have to add; One Handed Swords Two Handed Swords Daggers Claws Flails Sceptres One Handed Axes Two Handed Axes PoE1 Classes Duelist - Slayer, Champion, Gladiator (or their variations) Marauder - Berserker, Chieftain, Juggernaut Templar - Hierophant, Guardian, Inquisitor Witch - 3rd Ascendancy Shadow - Assassin, Saboteur, Trickster Ranger - 3rd Ascendancy PoE2 Classes Sorceress - 3rd Ascendancy Monk - 3rd Ascendancy Huntress - 3rd Ascendancy Class 5 - 3 Ascendancies Class 6 - 3 Ascendancies Act 5 Act 6 Rework Skill Tree (iterated each update usually, but it's still complete garbo) Rework the Atlas Skill tree - allegedly coming in 0.5. This is not including thing such as balance, bug fixes, mechanical tweaks etc. If they want to release the game before 2027, that gives them just about 1 year to implement all of this. Seeing as how it's been about 1 year exactly since Early Access opened and we have gotten about 1/4 of this amount of content, I don't think that it's a reasonable timeline for them. Unless they pull in a massive amount of new talent like right now and put all hands on deck with PoE2, realistically it looks like a 2028 release timeline. I don't know man I'm just concerned with the current pace of updates. I think they bit of more than they can chew, and were way too optimistic in their roadmap. ~ Seph Last bumped on Dec 6, 2025, 2:34:18 PM

They didn't release a roadmap tho? Just optimistic hopes and dreams from what I understood. And not even being familiar with GGG's history at that time I assumed it was probably bunk.
I don't exactly mind pace as much as quality.
Spoiler
A game might take more time to be a good game, but a bad game is forever bad.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.
