When will we get the new passive tree?

I've never played during the times of major passive tree reworks. How close to launch day does GGG normally give us the new passive tree and ascendancy trees?

Last league they said they couldn't release the tree early, because it isn't implemented on the website yet.

I don't think that situation changed, so expect the tree when preloading starts, I think around wednesday.

Probably with datamining, PoE Ninja is fast about that, so it will happen when pre-load starts, just refresh poe ninja afterwards.

You'll have like around 2 hours, I think it's more than enough.

Is it kind of the same answer for the new skill gems and supports? I'd like to try and start tinkering with a build early if possible, but not knowing the passive tree or the full compliment of skill gems makes it almost meaningless.

I've never made my own build before, I've always followed a guide, all the way back to like 2012 or 2013 in POE1. I really want to try my hand at it this league, but since I've never done it before, I expect it to take a LOT of time.

When new characters drop that literally no one has ever played or can realistically plan for I almost always go in blind and just try everything in-game and make things up as I go based on what feels good.

Gold respec is a lifesaver. I expect to be support-gem starved for a bit though lol - still going to be fun.

That said, I have pretty much strictly played homebrews in poe since 2015, I'm no stranger to knowing what is likely to feel good, or feel bad, or adjusting upon finding new information/gear, so I suppose it could be overwhelming experience for people who need a little bit more structure around the complexity in order to orient themselves.

But you only get that blind experienced once! And I plan to make the most of it.
