Poe2 Mind Over Matter question

Do I still get the spell damage bonuses from the "life spell damage" and "sacrificial blood" passives when MOM is weirdly turning a spell's life cost back into mana cost? If I am not getting the damage bonuses, is there any reason to use a combo like this or is it just a waste of passive points?

Unless i'm wrong, Mind over matter protect your from damage at the cost of your mana, it doesn't protect you from "Cost"

As long your spell cost life, it should work.
If your spell doesn't cost life, then no.
Unless casting your spell make you take damage, but that not sacrificing life, it just you taking damage.
If your not sure, try to limit as much as you can your bonus when casting and look before and after you cast a spell in your damage tooltip of that spell.
