GGG Should Officially Hire Neversink and Integrate His Loot Filter System

Grinding Gear Games should strongly consider hiring Neversink and integrating his loot-filter system directly into Path of Exile. For years, Neversink’s filters have been the community standard—refined, reliable, and essential for both casual and high-end players. His work has already shaped how millions experience loot in PoE.

Currently, players depend on external tools and add-ons to customize or update their filters. While this is manageable on PC, it creates real limitations for new players and especially for console users.

For console players, this change would be transformative.
Xbox and PlayStation users cannot modify or generate loot filters the way PC players can. They’re restricted to preset selections with little flexibility. Integrating Neversink’s system directly into the game would finally give console players full control—customizable tiers, visibility options, strictness levels, and real-time updates. This would dramatically improve the console experience, reduce clutter, and put both platforms on equal footing for the first time.

An official GGG-integrated loot-filter platform—built with Neversink’s guidance—would:

Modernize the user experience
No more external websites, imports, or manual updates—everything handled inside the game.
