Option to disable sprint without removing roll dodge

Hi, is there a way to disable the sprint function whilst still being able to roll dodge? If not, I hope it gets added. I personally prefer working on movement speed than actively thinking if it is safe to sprint every time. Besides, is the intended gameplay loop just to press escape and reset when you're knocked out? I tried allocating Back in Action for stun recovery and didn't feel any significant improvement. Or maybe the real problem is these two different actions are tied to each other. In ESO shift is for sprint, ctrl is for roll dodge, space is for jumping. Consequences doesn't have to be just pure annoyance.

Have to keep controller in mind here so sprint being tied to same button makes sense.

That said... don't hold dodge button when you use it, just tap it. you won't sprint if you don't hold it down.
You used to be able to hold space to chain dodges, loved that much better. When using WASD controls the sprint is next to useless, and the stagger you do when leaving it after going 2 feet is horrible. Would prefer if you go into another dodge when ending the sprint at least instead of the stagger.

Found you can animation cancel the stagger by letting go of then pressing the space real quick to dodge instead, works better but you need to remember to do it each time. An option to just not sprint at all would be much preferable though.

I see, do controller players prefer it being tied to the same button?

That is a whole different problem from what I mentioned, but I agree. To add, rolling and then letting go of space makes your character uncontrollably sprint to where your cursor is.

It should be possible to have both - a combined keybind and a separate keybind for dodge we could configure in settings.

There is also Blink which replaces dodge, has much shorter timing and tapping is still sometimes triggering sprint.
Just having the option would be great, more options are always better. Any time you hold sprint for a fraction longer than intended in a boss fight is bad, the start/stagger stop of the sprint will get you killed.
