armour sucks => druid sucks

I'm currently level 60 in interlude
my damage is ok, as i have a 270dps talisman.
but my defense is unbareble. its a bear btw, has supposedly increased armour.
and i have invested 15 points in defense(armour, es, armour as ele)

3 white mobs, ill need to drink potion, 5 of them will kill me.
bear is melee.

We talked that ton of times. Defence is just for decoration in POE2.

armour in the early levels is clearly superior to evasion rating, it makes some boss fights even trivial, like geonor.

Skill tree as it is just has not really any impact if the base is not there and thats the reason why your investment into defenses is not relevant at all. Also we have at most points better resistances as armour/evasion. Sure the armour you get on top of ele helps, but phys is at first the biggest problem after capping resistances. Therefore we rather would like to get "phys damage taken as ele" instead of the other way round.

You rather stack speed and stun threshold so that your skills get out no matter what and destroy enemies before they reach you.
I've just reached maps in HCSSF primarily in bear mode. Once I've realized we can't use a shield before launch, I was wondering how I'd survive. I then seen the shaman having physical damage taken as elemental damage and rushed for that notable.

I don't think armour alone is properly balanced yet, especially in endgame, more so in ssf. I bet it shines after you stack a ton though.

I just never have enough armour in ssf if I'm not converting physical damage I take into elemental damage. On top of that not having block is just a level of squishy I probably can't expect to survive long.

First, you never can have enough armour in PoE, especially 2, cause there is armour shred and breaking, which enemies do with 1 hit and all your armour is gone....

Second, there are talismans which have block chance in the implicit. Not much but 15% i think.

and third, life sucks compared to ES and armour sucks compared to Evasion and ES. Being stun immune or getting a stun threshold is a literal requirement for all melee classes, but at least the bear comes with some basic defenses and benefits per level. Wolf only gets more movement speed.... tf
Yes, armour really needs a buff to be viable. I'm tired of being forced to use energy shield for everything in this game.
